Nigeria’s Ambassador to France ready to work with Integral and promises support for Super Falcons ahead of the 2019 FIFA Women's Cup
Integral, have already begun the sale of hospitality packages for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup in France and Irele believes the appointment of the sports event and hospitality company to provide hospitality packages for the tournament is an important one to promote and support women’s football in Nigeria.
She said this during a meeting at the Nigerian Embassy in Paris with the managing director of Integral, Abimbola Ilo.
The diplomat also applauded the efforts of the company to ensure successful handling of Nigeria’s travelling fans during the tournament and also canvassed for support for the Super Falcons.
“Women’s football is fast growing and I am happy to welcome Nigerians to this prestigious tournament in France,” Irele said.
“I encourage Nigerians to come and support Nigeria’s Super Falcons who are the reigning African Champions.
“I commend Integral for using its position to not only promote women’s football but also to create an unforgettable experience for Nigerians to enjoy French culture, which will promote Nigeria-France relations.”
In his response, Ilo said Integral are committed to delivering a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience for their clients in France.
“The Super Falcons are the most successful African team in women’s football and the hospitality packages are a way to not only watch the team in comfort but also to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of iconic French host cities,” Ilo said.
The Super Falcons will be competing at the 8th edition of the FIFA Women’s World Cup which is scheduled to hold from 7th June – 7th July 2019.
Nigeria’s senior women’s national team have been drawn in A with host France, Norway and South Korea.
