The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Saturday, October 7 face Zambia at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

Ahead of the clash, the Super Eagles camp opened at the Le Méridien Hotel in Uyo on Monday, October 2.

It was a quiet day for the Super Eagles players before 5 pm when they resumed training.

They had some sessions in the gym between breakfast and lunch before they headed to the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium for an open training session.

Victor Moses who arrived late in camp on Wednesday joined in at lunch and later at the evening training session.

Moses with the permission from Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr had stayed back in London to sort out some family issues, Pulse Sports.

The evening session happened under the light rain as the Super Eagles players were put through their pace.

There was a training match later with the team split into Team A and Team B.

Team A Squad: Ikechukwu Ezenwa: Shehu Abdullahi, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun, Elderson Echiéjilé, Ogenyi Onazi, Wilfred Ndidi, Ahmed Musa, Alex Iwobi, Anthony Nwakeme, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Governor Udom Emmanuel visits

After training, the Super Eagles received Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel in a closed-door meeting.

He reportedly pledged a huge cash for each Super Eagles goal as he has done in the last three games in Uyo.
