Nigeria will play Zambia on Saturday, October 7 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
On Thursday, the Super Eagles of Nigeria started their day with breakfast before the press conference ahead of the game against Zambia which started at 11:30 am.
For the press conference, the media officer of the Super Eagles Toyin Ibitoye selected five players led by coach Gernot Rohr and John Mikel Obi to appear before the media.
Rohr and Mikel alongside Alex Iwobi, Ola Aina, Odion Ighalo and Ikechukwu Ezenwa all answered questions from journalists.
After the press conference, the Super Eagles had lunch and a couple of team meetings before they headed out to a closed-door training session at the match venue.
After having dinner, the players relaxed in the best way they could. Some remained in their rooms while some others relaxed poolside chatting and listening to music.
The players outside however had to make their way to the room before 10:30 pm which was when the curfew starts.
A win for the Super Eagles on Saturday will seal their qualification to the World Cup and anything less than that will take Group B to the wire.
