Sunday Oliseh looks to Odion Ighalo, Moses Simon to down The Pharaohs
Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh is looking to Watford striker striker Odion Ighalo and Moses Simon to be in top form when Nigeria face Egypt in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The Super Eagles will face Egypt in a double header next month and Oliseh says he hopes Ighalo who has 15 goals for his club this season and Moses can help Nigeria overcome their Egyptian counterparts.
“Ighalo is doing well at Watford which is good for us. We hope he stays injury-free before the games against Egypt as he is one player we will be counting on to help us win the game,” Oliseh told Complete Sports.
“We also have another good striker in Simon Moses who has done well for us in recent games."
Oliseh also confirmed that some players from the Super Eagles Team B that played at the Africa Nations Championship (CHAN) will also be part of the squad to face Egypt.
Egypt are on top of the group with maximum six points after beating Tanzania at home and Chad away.
Nigeria are second with four points after a win and a draw.
