Ex-Brazilian footballer Romario has tipped Barcelona player and current captain of the national team, Neymar to surpass great, Pele.
Neymar now has 42 goals for the Brazilian national team and Romario who led the country to the 1994 World Cup believes the Barcelona star will break Pele's long-standing goal record for Brazil.
Neymar is now fifth in the nation's all-time goalscoring list behind greats like Pele with 77 goals, Ronaldo with 62, Romario with 55 and Zico with 48.
“I think because of his age – though he still has others to topple – Neymar will become to top goalscorer in Brazil's history, surpassing Pele,” the former PSV and Barca forward told.
“It wouldn't hurt if Neymar leapfrogged me in the list. I left my mark on history and now it's his turn.”
