Neymar Indulges in Luxury During World Cup: Brazilian Star Shows Off Million-Dollar Watch

The star striker visited the Jacob & Co. boutique, where he met with company founder Jacob Arabo. The two posed for a photograph that later appeared on the footballer's social media. "Always a pleasure, my friend," Neymar wrote on Instagram.

A video is also circulating online, capturing the 34-year-old Santos player during his visit to the luxury store and the presentation of exclusive watches. According to foreign media, he paid 1 million dollars for them, which is approximately 880,000 euros.

This isn't Neymar's first such expenditure. As reported by the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, the Brazilian goalscorer has been a long-time collector of luxury watches, and the total value of his collection is estimated to be in the millions of euros.

Interestingly, Neymar has only played just over half an hour at the ongoing World Cup. He was unavailable for the first two group stage matches and only came on in the 76th minute against Scotland.

For many months, it seemed the striker wouldn't feature in the tournament at all, but Ancelotti ultimately decided to call him up. Before the match against Japan, he admitted that his player was in better physical condition and ready to play more minutes, but he ultimately didn't feature at all.

Throughout his career, Neymar has played 129 matches for the Brazilian national team, scoring 79 goals. He is the all-time leading scorer in the national team's history, surpassing legends like Pelé, Ronaldo, Romário, Zico, and Bebeto.
