Newcastle Secures Tonali Replacement from France

Newcastle United has reportedly reached an agreement with Monaco for midfielder Aladji Bamba, according to Sky Sports. The Magpies have agreed to a fee of £30 million, with an additional £5 million in performance-related add-ons for the talented playmaker. The principality club has also secured a sell-on clause for Bamba's future transfer. The 20-year-old midfielder has already arrived in the North East of England to undergo a medical examination before signing his personal terms.

The highly-rated talent gained significant recognition last year after breaking into the Monaco first team and impressing with his performances, featuring in 28 matches. The youngster is considered exceptionally promising, and Newcastle is in dire need of midfield reinforcement. They recently parted ways with Sandro Tonali, who moved to Tottenham for over €100 million, and it is anticipated that team captain Bruno Guimarães could also be heading to another club in the coming weeks, with Arsenal reportedly leading the race for his signature.
