Ndidi and Iheanacho join Leicester City teammates to pay tribute to late billionaire owner at scene of helicopter crash

On Monday, Leicester City stars including Ndidi and Iheanacho were pictured alongside Srivaddhanaprabha's son Aiyawattat at a shrine at the ground where fans had left hundreds of shirts and bouquets of flowers to those who died from the crash.

Srivaddhanaprabha's wife Aimon was also present.

The players looked in a pensive mood as they took in the scenes just outside the stadium where the crash happened.

Grief

The players had been left devastated by the death of the Leicester City owner that a grief counselling was held for them.

There have been no training sessions since the incident and their Tuesday, October 30 Carabao Cup round-of-16 tie against Southampton has been postponed.

The players will also join friends in a private prayer service later on Monday.

Srivaddhanaprabha bought Leicester City in 2010 and oversaw their sensational rise which culminated in their unlikely Premier League title win of 2016.

A regular at home games, the Thai billionaire is known to leave the King Power Stadium after each home game with a helicopter that takes off from the centre of the pitch.

But moments just after takeoff on Saturday, the helicopter plummeted near one of the car parks at the stadium.

Everyone on board including his assistant Kaveporn Punpare and Nursara Suknamai, a Thai beauty queen turned PA, pilot Eric Swaffer and his girlfriend co-pilot Izabela Lechowicz all died in the crash.
