The San Antonio Spurs took an advantage in the exit of Lebron James to beat the Miami Heats 110-95, an air-conditioning failure in the Arena led to increasing excessive sweating in the game but it was Spurs who got rewarded for their perspiration with the first win in the NBA Finals game 1.

The Heats could have established the lead and then go on to win the game if not for a Danny Green double three-pointers inside the final six minutes who put the game beyond comeback for the Miami team.
