MTN, the continent's biggest wireless operator got the hefty fine of $3.9 billion last year and has since been locked in negotiations with the government on how the payment structure would be.

It appears both parties have now reached an agreement. A statement released by the South African company earlier today read; “MTN Nigeria has agreed to pay a total cash amount of 330billion Naira over three years.”
