Mourinho: At Real Madrid, There Is No Such Thing as Peace and Quiet

Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho reflected on his side's commanding 4-1 victory over Sevilla in La Liga. The Portuguese tactician praised his team's response following recent tests, while also acknowledging the relentless pressure that comes with managing at the Santiago Bernabeu.

"We started strongly right from the opening whistle. The players showed immense motivation and respect for an opponent whose strengths we had analyzed thoroughly. After the match against Roma, we delivered a completely different energy and dynamic. Sevilla's goal caught everyone by surprise, but we responded the right way and wrapped up the win. It was a wonderful night, and Eder Militao's return means the world to the entire squad—we all know what he has been through, and it was truly emotional for us," Mourinho said.

The manager emphasized that finding the right balance remains an ongoing process amid a grueling fixture list:

"We played an excellent match. The clash against Roma was particularly challenging, but the team managed to produce the right answer. We are a united group and we are working hard to improve, even though we haven't spent much time together. Given the sheer magnitude of Real Madrid, it is impossible to enjoy the peace and quiet managers have at other clubs. We maximize every single minute. We're back in training tomorrow, and on Wednesday we face a side that played on Saturday and already holds a slight advantage," the Portuguese coach added.

On Wednesday, the Spanish giants host RB Leipzig in matchday three of the Champions League main phase.
