MotoGP organizers have yet to make a final decision on whether the Qatar Grand Prix will go ahead in early November or be cancelled due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East.

Originally scheduled for April 12, the premier class's sole night race was postponed to November 8 following the conflict in the Persian Gulf. However, with less than a month remaining before the scheduled race weekend, championship bosses are still evaluating whether the event will take place.

"We are monitoring the situation closely. Our plan is to go to Qatar, but the safety and well-being of all personnel and fans remains our top priority. So we will continue to keep a close eye on developments," explained MotoGP Sporting Director Carlos Ezpeleta, who declined to set a firm deadline for the final verdict.

Several riders were also asked about their stance on racing in the Middle East. Francesco Bagnaia, Fabio Quartararo, and Alex Marquez indicated they would have no issue travelling to Qatar, whereas Pedro Acosta took a darker, more humorous approach to the situation.

"We don't have a choice. We are hired to do this, to race. If a bomb falls, hopefully it's not nearby. For me, if the team buys the tickets to go there, I have to go," the KTM rider explained.
