The French Cup champions were outwitted by the host despite talisman Moses Simon hitting the target.

However, the home side quickly turned things around to blow the Yellows out of proportion with three goals of their own.

With five minutes left on the clock, Simon pulled a second goal back for Nantes to ensure a tense final five minutes for the home side.

Lorient held on to the narrow lead to take all three points which see them move up to fourth on the Ligue 1 table.

In addition to his goal, Simon created one chance, made one key pass, completed four (4) dribbles and made four (4) recoveries.
