Oti Bless’ ministerial appointment remained in the balance for the past three months after the Minority led the charge for the suspension of his approval following his alleged abusive remarks over the Judiciary, especially, the Chief Justice on an Accra-based radio station – Montie FM.

The nomination of Mr Bless generated heated debate in parliament, prompting the house to postpone the motion to enable the leaders of the house confer among themselves.

Parliament had put on grip the approval of Mr Bless’ nomination in August of this year following revelations, after his vetting by the Appointments Committee, that the Nkwanta North MP had made disparaging remarks about the Chief Justice on Accra-based FM.
