Mercedes have declared a total of seven new aerodynamic components on the W17 ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix weekend, which is set to take place at Sepang in Malaysia.
The headline change centres around a new floor, accompanied by revisions to the rear suspension, rear corners, and rear-end packaging. This marks only the second major upgrade package for the W17 this season, and the team's first significant overhaul since the Canadian Grand Prix in May.
Alongside Mercedes, several other teams have registered updates ahead of Round 16: McLaren (1), Red Bull (1), Ferrari (1), Racing Bulls (2), Haas (1), and Alpine (1). McLaren's modification focuses on the engine cover to enhance cooling in the sweltering Malaysian heat. Ferrari have introduced an updated diffuser, while Red Bull have adjusted their floor edge wing.
