Mbappe Writes Name into Real Madrid History with El Clasico Brace Against Barca
Kylian Mbappe has reached the 100-goal milestone for Real Madrid after netting a brace in their 2-1 El Clasico victory over Barcelona. The French forward hit the landmark in his 116th competitive appearance for the Spanish giants, becoming one of the fastest players in club history to hit the century mark.
Mbappe arrived at Camp Nou sitting on 98 goals for Real Madrid. He broke the deadlock in the 41st minute to move within one of the century, before striking again in the 87th minute to hit the prestigious milestone.
The Frenchman took just over two years to score his first 100 goals for Los Blancos, having made his club debut against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup in August 2024.
His double against Barcelona took his overall career tally against the Catalans to 15 goals, with several of those coming during his spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe becomes just the 24th player in Real Madrid history to reach the 100-goal mark, with only three players achieving the feat faster. The record belongs to Ferenc Puskas, who needed exactly 100 matches, followed by Cristiano Ronaldo (105), Pahino (111), and Alfredo Di Stefano (114).
