Midfielder unveiled at Bernabeu

Real Madrid new signing Mateo Kovacic was yesterday, officially  at the Santiago Bernabeu  to fans.

The £25million midfielder who was bought from InterMilan is the fifth Croat to join Real Madrid  were his compatriot Luka Modric also plays.

Speaking about the new signing, president Florentino Perez said that although Kovacic is young, he is experienced and possesses great talent.

The 21-year-old was with his parents, sister and girlfriend as he posed with his No 16 short.

Kovacic started his career at Dinamo Zagreb when he was 16 and signed for Inter in 2013.

He made 80 appearances for the Italian side before signing for Real Madrid.
