"Esteve ticks all the boxes. He's tall, physically strong, has a powerful left foot, is excellent on the ball, and defends proactively. He's a natural leader and will undoubtedly bring a lot of positive energy to our team," commented Marcel Schäfer, Leipzig's sporting director, on the new acquisition.
