Marseille Shows Interest in Real Madrid Defender

Marseille is reportedly eyeing Real Madrid defender Raul Asensio, according to Mundo Deportivo. The French club is planning a loan move for the 23-year-old, with an option to buy for €15 million. Should a permanent transfer materialize, "Los Blancos" are keen to retain a sell-on clause for their academy product.

During the 2025/26 season, Asensio scored two goals and provided one assist in 34 appearances. He also accumulated seven yellow cards and one red card. The player's current contract runs until the summer of 2031, but he does not feature in the plans of new head coach José Mourinho.
