Ms Ogar is said to have been retired from the DSS on Wednesday, September 2, 2015.

According to Sahara Reporters, a retirement letter was sent to her and other employees of the agency asking them to leave.

The workers were reportedly forced to vacate their positions due to the desire of new DSS director, Musa Daura, to reorganize the agency.

Ms Ogar was removed from her position as spokesperson in July soon after President Muhammadu Buhari appointed Daura to head the agency.
