According to Russian television, Life78, agent of the Chilean coach’s agent has had talks with Zenit Saint-Petersburg who are offering a two-year, €4million-a-season (£3.09million) deal.
Pellegrini however is thinking about remaining in England with Newcastle United reportedly interested.
The 62-year-old has won two League Cup trophy and one Premier League since joining City in 2013.
