An England U17 international, Fredricson progressed through every age group at Old Trafford, making his senior debut under Ruben Amorim in April 2025, in a home defeat to Wolverhampton.

On their official website, the club issued an emotional farewell message to the player.

“A lifelong United fan, the South Manchester-born youngster worked tirelessly as he proudly rose through the ranks of our world-renowned academy. He was an exemplary professional throughout his time at the club and a much-loved member of our academy teams,” read the Reds’ statement.

The transfer fee for the move to the club that finished ninth in the last Swiss league season was not disclosed by either club involved.
