Manchester City Eyes Feyenoord Right-Back for Summer Transfer

Manchester City is reportedly targeting Feyenoord right-back Jivairo Read for a potential summer transfer, according to Sky Sports. City has been in the market for a new player in this position for some time, but the impressive performances of converted midfielder Matheus Nunes have delayed the acquisition of a defender. Tino Livramento and Wesley were previously close to a move but ultimately did not arrive at the Etihad. Read, 19, is currently recovering from an injury but is expected to return to action in a few weeks and will be closely monitored by City scouts. The Dutch youth international has already attracted interest from German giants Bayern Munich and other Premier League clubs. Sky also reports that City is looking for midfielders for the summer window and is expected to make several outgoing transfers.
