Major boost for Chelsea fans: Cole Palmer commits long-term future to the club
Having arrived in August 2023, he quickly established himself as one of the game's top attacking talents. He has scored 91 goals in 138 appearances, lifting both the Conference League and the Club World Cup with Chelsea. On the international stage, he became just the second Englishman in history to score in a European Championship final in 2024.
"Chelsea means a lot to me and I believe the club is heading in the right direction, so I'm delighted to sign a new deal and obviously very happy. Conversations with the owners, the sporting directors, and of course the manager gave me great confidence, so signing was the right decision.
Speaking with the players, it's clear we all share the same ambitions. I believe we will regularly compete for major silverware here, and I want to be a part of that and play a key role," Palmer told the club's official website. He has started the current campaign in fine form, registering four goals and two assists in his opening seven outings.
