Tech company partners with Microsoft to provide private cloud services
MainOne’s data center subsidiary, MDX-I, in partnership with Microsoft, has launched a cloud-based service offering to provide private computing environments for companies.
“The new cloud platform is a scalable and cost effective alternative to dedicated computing resources deployed in-house by companies,” says Rob Lever, MDX-i’s Business Development Executive. “It includes managed virtual data centers, virtual private servers, and virtual LANs to assure customers of high availability.”
MainOne also says the solution includes CPU, memory, security firewalls and network bandwidth, provisioned on a subscription basis.
This is MDX-i’s first partnership with Microsoft. The company also said it is the first data center in Nigeria to hold two certifications when the recently won the certification for PCI DSS and ISO 27001.
