Punch reports that National Automotive Development and Design Council (NADDC) has given this directive, in order to reduce the high rate of speed-related accidents.

This new directive will also affect imported vehicles, as well.

A deadline for the installation of these devices has already been given.

The installation of speed-limiting devices is part of the Federal Road Safety Commission's efforts to reduce the accidents.
