Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique was pleased with his side's 3-1 Ligue 1 victory over Le Mans. The Spanish tactician praised his players' performance and gave credit to the opposition for their spirited display.
"The result is almost perfect. We conceded a goal, which made things more complicated, but we knew it would be tough. I think the team showed real character. We managed to control the match, which wasn't easy at all, as Le Mans showed incredible bravery and deserve credit," Luis Enrique began.
He then turned his attention to the upcoming Champions League showdown against Manchester City.
"It was a demanding match, but it is always a pleasure to face such a courageous opponent. Taking all three points was crucial in our pursuit of top spot. Now, our focus shifts back to the Champions League. It's a fantastic competition and we thrive on these big nights. Traveling to face an English side will undoubtedly be difficult, but we are completely ready," the Spaniard added.
