Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique expressed his satisfaction with the transfer of Ferran Torres, who was officially unveiled today as a PSG player. The Spanish international is a world-class talent, and according to Enrique, it was crucial for the club to acquire such a versatile forward capable of playing across all attacking positions.

“I am very happy with Ferran Torres’ arrival. We are strengthening the squad. You have to be open to every opportunity that arises, and Ferran Torres is a world-class player. We know him very well. He will quickly adapt to what we want. He can play anywhere in attack, and it was important for us to find a player of his caliber. We continue to work with Luis Campos to bolster the team.”

“Currently, many players want to join PSG. But for us, as a staff, it's very difficult to find players who truly adapt to what we want. Many of them don't possess the qualities suited for our playing project,” Enrique stated during his press conference ahead of the upcoming French Super Cup clash.

The Spaniard also shared his expectations specifically for tomorrow's match against Lens:

“Tomorrow, we face one of the toughest matches of the season – against Lens at an incredible stadium. We will try to win this very important trophy. We know how difficult it is to play away there. This is a special moment in the season, also due to the preparation not being optimal.”

When asked if he would implement significant rotations, given that the team played in the UEFA Super Cup final against Aston Villa just a few days prior, Enrique responded in his typical style: “You want me to give an advantage to the opponent by revealing my lineup? I don't know if there will be rotations… I need to talk to my wife to find out who will play.”
