Christian Louboutin reveals F/W 16 Collection inspired by the '70's

Christian Louboutin releases platforms, embellished ankle strap details, winged boots and more for Fall/Winter 2016 taking inspiration from the '70s.

Crafting heels with glitters, bold colour combinations in a 'disco-like' setting all bringing back an old vibe to the presentation. The models struck unusual fierce poses against glitterati backdrops mimicking partying, disco and more for the colourful collection.

The Fall/Winter 2016 collection features winged boots styles, glittering platforms, ankle strap detailed embellished numbers and more.

“It was a period where it was fun to have an attitude instead of trying to look very normal—people were showing off a bit, being a bit loud. They had an attitude, were proud of having an attitude and played with it, they were playing with their own femininity.” Christian Louboutin described the attitude and inspiration behind the new collection in a release via WWD.

The new collection is different from the typical 'Christian Louboutin feel' except of course features the brand's signature red bottoms.
