Inter Milan has reportedly submitted a new offer to Liverpool for midfielder Curtis Jones. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, the bid was valued at €32 million but was immediately rejected by the Merseyside club's management. The "Nerazzurri's" initial offer of €25 million was deemed derisory by those at Anfield.
Jacobs suggests that Liverpool would only consider a sale if they received an offer exceeding €40 million. However, it's highly probable that the midfielder will ultimately remain at Anfield. Yesterday, the team's new manager, Andoni Iraola, also expressed his admiration for the Englishman and hopes he will stay with his boyhood club for many years to come.
Jones' current contract expires next summer, and the club will undoubtedly offer him a new deal if a transfer doesn't materialize now. Nottingham Forest has also shown significant interest in the player.
