Piroe is a proven goalscorer in England's second tier, having netted 73 goals in 179 appearances for Swansea and Leeds. The forward marks the Londoners' fifth summer signing, following the arrivals of midfielder Arne Engels, wingers Manor Solomon and Keiber Lamadrid, and defender Joël Veltman. The team, managed by Nuno Espírito Santo, kicked off their first Championship campaign in over a decade with a 2-2 draw against Burnley over the weekend.
