Arsenal defender set to miss Stoke City clash with back injury

The injury woes continue for Arsenal as defender Laurent Koscielny is a doubt for their English Premier League clash with Stoke City on Saturday, September 12.

The defender's back injury kept him away from Arsenal's last home game against Liverpool and is he set to miss the next one after aggravating a muscle problem on international duty.

Koscielny has been struggling with a muscle injury in the lower part of his back and was left on the bench for France's game against Serbia on Monday night as a precaution.

The 29-year-old has been has been receiving treatments to resolve the issue and has also insisted that there was no major issue.

Arsenal will however assess the defender before deciding is he will be fit for the EPL clash with Stoke City.
