Frank Lampard believes that potentially stripping his former club Manchester City of their titles would be purely symbolic, as the players will still feel like champions regardless.

"I have titles, but they aren't hanging on my walls. They stay in my head. Most players who competed against the toughest opposition worked incredibly hard to win. That's why I think it would be very difficult to take those titles away from anyone, as they live in your mind, not in shiny glass cabinets or anywhere else," said Lampard, who is currently managing Coventry City.

Lampard spent the 2014/15 season playing for Manchester City. However, the midfielder—best known for his illustrious Chelsea career—did not lift any trophies during his spell at the Etihad.
