Actress speaks on what Nollywood needs to improve, motherhood and acting, venturing into music

Nollywood actress and producer, Laide Bakare, was recently a guest at Pulse Nigeria, where she spoke on her career, personal life, and Nollywood.

The actress spoke on challenges faced as a filmmaker, her experience producing Yoruba speaking movies, and what Nollywood needs to improve.

Bakare who also spoke on combining filmmaking and motherhood, said; “I don’t rush myself, I take my time. I’m not in any way over ambitious. I mustn’t feature in every movie, and I should be able to take responsibilities for what I have become today.”

In the exclusive interview, the actress also spoke on what people don’t know about her, handling criticism, among other interesting topics every fan would love to know about her.
