The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Mr Elijah Adewale of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who represented the constituency in the House of Representatives, died on July 20, necessitating the Dec. 3 by-election to fill the vacant seat.

The election which is being organised by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is to be contested by candidates of six political parties.

Bello said that there would be no restriction of movement during the exercise.
