Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp is reportedly open to taking the helm of the German national team, according to Fabrizio Romano. Klopp is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished coaches of the past decade, having achieved significant success with the Reds, including securing their first Premier League title in 30 years and reaching two Champions League finals, winning one.
The German national team suffered a major setback two days ago, crashing out of the World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada after a draw in regular time and a penalty shootout loss to Paraguay. Despite this, current head coach Julian Nagelsmann, who is under contract until the summer of 2028, has no intention of resigning and has not yet tendered his resignation. He is keen to continue leading the team through Euro 2028 in England.
Nevertheless, the German Football Association is still weighing its options and is expected to make a final decision on Nagelsmann's future in the coming weeks. German publications "Bild" and "Kicker" are already heavily speculating about the possibility of Julian Nagelsmann being replaced by Jürgen Klopp.
