Klopp Erupts: If That Goal Is Disallowed, Arsenal Wouldn't Be Champions

Former Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp ignited a fiery debate in England by commenting on Jonathan Tah's disallowed goal in extra time during the 2026 World Cup Round of 16 match between Germany and Paraguay. Julian Nagelsmann's side was subsequently eliminated after a penalty shootout, with Klopp himself being a favorite to take over the German national team. According to the 59-year-old tactician, Tah's goal should have stood, and he even took a jab at Arsenal in his remarks.

"If that goal is disallowed, then Arsenal wouldn't be champions of England. They've scored 60% of their goals that way. You win the game when the ball is in the net. So, of course, it's brutal," Klopp told German channel MagentaTV.
