After losing his middleweight title and undefeated record to Sean Strickland in the main event of UFC 328 in May, Chimaev sent a clear message to fans and the organization's management: he wants to fight again.

Despite having a grappling match scheduled against Tyron Woodley on September 5th, Chimaev appears fully focused on his competitive career and is no longer solely insisting on a rematch with Strickland.

In a social media post, Chimaev expanded his list of potential opponents to four names.

Beyond Strickland, Chimaev is now also open to a rematch with former champion Dricus du Plessis, top contender Nassourdine Imavov, or another prominent name in the 185-pound division, Caio Borralho.

Currently, none of these fighters have a bout scheduled. However, Imavov is campaigning for the next title shot against Strickland, who, for his part, has indicated he's targeting December for his first defense. Strickland himself hasn't ruled out an immediate rematch with Chimaev following his surprising victory at UFC 328.
