Former Schalke midfielder, Kevin-Prince Boateng is nearly set to join Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon.
According to A Bola the 28-year-old midfielder could complete his move before the end of today after agreeing a deal with the club.
The former Portsmouth and AC Milan midfielder will be signing a two-year deal with the Lions after he was sacked by Bundesliga side Schalke at the end of last season.
The contract of the former AC Milan midfielder along with that of Sidney Sam was cancelled 'with immediate effect' as a 'consequence' of their surprise defeat by Cologne on Sunday, May 10.
Having just played six full matches last season, Boateng was then voted the third worst player in the German league.
