Houston Rockets' superstar Kevin Durant participated in half of his team's practice session ahead of Game 2 of their Western Conference playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). However, his availability for the game remains uncertain, ESPN reports.

The 37-year-old veteran missed the Game 1 loss (98-107) due to a knee injury sustained in practice last week. The Rockets will undoubtedly need his presence if they hope to even the series before it shifts to Texas.

“Pain tolerance is one thing, but mobility and feeling comfortable will be most important for him,” stated head coach Ime Udoka.

Kevin Durant leads his team with an average of 26 points per game this season, and his absence was keenly felt in the opening defeat. In that game, Houston's players shot under 40% from the field, despite attempting 27 more shots than their opponents.

Game 2 of the best-of-seven series is scheduled for tonight in Los Angeles. A victory for the Rockets would level the series, allowing them to return home for their next two games with momentum.
