Juventus are reportedly seriously considering a move for Manchester United forward Joshua Zirkzee, according to Sky Italia. The Turin giants view the Dutchman as an excellent option to bolster their attacking prowess, as manager Luciano Spalletti looks to reshape the squad after a disappointing past season.

Despite high expectations upon his arrival in England, Zirkzee's tenure at Manchester United has been marked by inconsistent performances. In the 2024/25 season, the forward made 49 appearances across all competitions, scoring 7 goals. However, his role significantly diminished in the most recent campaign (2025/26) under Michael Carrick. He featured in just 26 matches, finding the net only twice – statistics that have placed him on the list of players expected to depart the club this summer.

Randal Kolo Muani remains the primary target for Juventus's attack. The French forward spent last season on loan at Tottenham, but a significant disparity currently exists in valuation between the Bianconeri and Paris Saint-Germain. Should an agreement for Kolo Muani not materialize, Zirkzee is the leading alternative, although Juventus has not ruled out the possibility of signing both forwards.

Juventus's transfer policy this summer is focused on a complete overhaul of their attacking options. The club has already finalized the loan of Lois Openda to Lyon, after the Belgian disappointed with just 2 goals in 34 appearances. His departure creates both financial and tactical space for new additions who can bring greater efficiency in front of goal.

Meanwhile, Manchester United is also undertaking a significant squad clear-out. The Red Devils have already parted ways with veterans like Casemiro, who moved to Inter Miami, and are actively seeking buyers for several first-team players, including Zirkzee. The club's new policy, supported by the acquisition of younger talents like Andrey Santos and experienced figures such as Youri Tielemans, aims to balance the squad and free up funds for new defensive signings. At Old Trafford, they continue to explore options for another midfielder and a left-back.
