Manchester United midfielder wants new deal

Mata and Mourinho have a history together at Chelsea as the midfielder was one of the best players at Stamford Bridge before Mourinho returned in 2013.

He spent majority of the first half of that season on the bench before Mourinho authorised his move to Manchester United.

With Mourinho reportedly to take over at United, Mata is scared that his Chelsea ordeal will repeat itself and his asking for a new contract to reassure of him of a future at the club.
