'The Mentalist' star joins 'Grey's Anatomy'

According to The Hollywood Reporter, 'Grey's Anatomy' is adding a new cast to the hit show.

The report states that Joe Alder from 'The Maze Runner' and 'The Mentalist' will be joining the show as a new intern at Grey Sloan Memorial.

He will appear in the final episodes of season 11.This addition is coming after the unexpected exit of Patrick Dempsey (Derek Shepard) from show.
