Ivo Karlovic became the second player on the ATP World Tour to hit 10,000 career aces.
The 36-year-old Croatian served a tee ace when serving at 3-3 in the second set of his clash with Milos Raonic at the Rogers Cup.
He followed it up with ace number 10,001 for a 30-0 lead, before holding serve in little over a minute.
Karlovic went on to post a 7-6 (7-1) 7-6 (7-1) victory.
Earlier in the second set, Karlovic also registered his third 1,000-ace season - having previously reached four figures in the 2007 season (1,318) and last year (1,185).
He finished the second-round clash with Raonic with 10,004 career, and 1,009 season, aces respectively.
Karlovic is renowned for his booming serve, the world number 23 aided by his six-foot-11 frame.
He follows countryman Goran Ivanisevic as the only other man to reach five figures in aces, with the 2001 Wimbledon champion accruing 10,183.
