Franjo Ivanovic, the 22-year-old Croatian forward, appears to be nearing a move to Hull City, with a potentially lucrative loan deal on the table for Benfica.
According to Croatian publication and radio station HTR, negotiations with the English club are at an advanced stage. Hull City's owner, Acun Illicai, had already confirmed their interest a week and a half ago.
The proposed deal currently involves a loan with an obligatory purchase clause set at €25 million. This arrangement could see Benfica, who acquired the Croatian for €22.8 million, even turn a profit on the player.
It's worth noting that Hull City has just been promoted to the Premier League, has already secured former Sporting midfielder Morita, and possesses fresh funds for transfers.
