The ceremony will take place on February 28th of next year when Minnesota hosts the Boston Celtics, another of Garnett's former teams. Interestingly, his No. 5 jersey has also been retired by the Celtics, highlighting his impact across both franchises.

Drafted 5th overall in the 1995 NBA Draft directly out of high school, Garnett quickly became the cornerstone of the Minneapolis team. To this day, he remains the Timberwolves' all-time leader in points, rebounds, assists, steals, blocks, and games played. In 2004, he earned the MVP award, a distinction he still holds as the only Minnesota player to achieve it.
