You won't believe why this mum beat up a staff in her daughter's school

In an incident that has shocked the teachers' community in Jalandhar, a mother beat up the director of her daughter's school for just one reason; her daughter was banned from using a mobile phone in school.

Taranjit Kaur Hundal, barged into the office of Mayor World School director Jyoti Nagrani and closed the door from inside, Hindustan Times reports.

"She not only allegedly hurled abuses at Nagrani, but also beat her up and even strangulated her," the report said.On Wednesday, the school issued a video footage to the police for recording the evidence in the case.

The police have lodged an FIR against Taranjit Kaur under sections 451 (house trespass in order to commit offence punishable with imprisonment) and 452 (house trespass after preparation to hurt, assault or wrongful restraint).Incidentally, Taranjit is the wife of an advocate, Mr KS Hundal.
