Kwacha slips as copper prices remain near one-month low

By 0911 GMT, the kwacha had weakened 1.21 percent to 10.4650 per dollar.

Zambia's kwacha fell more than one percent on Wednesday as persistent signs of an oversupply of copper amid tepid Chinese demand kept the metal's prices near a one-month low.

Zambia is Africa's second-largest producer of copper.
