Travellers experience heavy traffic along Benin-Asaba express way [PHOTO]

Reports say these people have been stuck for hours.

One of the stranded passengers said; "Thinking of going through Benin/Asaba express..think again".

This traffic is as a result of the huge number of people travelling in order to spend the first day of 2015 with their families.

Last month, Kenya experienced a similar traffic jam that lasted for three days!

While the traffic on the Benin-Asaba express way is caused by the large number of travellers, Reuters news agency say the Kenyan traffic was as a result of a heavy downpour and unfinished road work.
