We can all agree that it was a little more tedious, and stressful.

Then the Internet came in and everything changed.

While there is no doubt that it has some negative sides to it, the Internet has done more good than bad.

Here are two major ways this useful tool has improved the real estate business.

Advertising- The Internet has certainly revolutionised the way people who wants to rent out or sell a property advertise. Now, any real estate agent has the opportunity to advertise their business on websites just like that. On the part of the buyers, they now have an easy way of finding what they are looking for on the Internet as opposed to finding the agent before seeing the property. A bonus is that agents/sellers can advertise their property without leaving their home or even while on the move through any of the handheld devices such as smartphones, tablets, etc.

Larger market- Thanks to the Internet, real estate firms, agents, now have a larger target as opposed to just doing business with those around. This has helped boost the real estate industry as a larger market means more income.

There is no doubt that the real estate sector in Nigeria has definitely benefited from the arrival of the Internet.
